Corporate Team Building - D3 Active

D3 Active Team is a division of D3 Active, whom are renowned for developing activities that are unconventional, educational and involving, on a global scale.

We have years of experience in developing techniques for uncovering and emphasising skills relevant to the workplace including leadership, initiative, communication and delegation, all of which will enhance a team’s performance.

Set in the vast and beautiful Eastnor Estate, D3 Active has harnessed the varied terrain and natural topography to involve a wide variety of activities.  The estate offers a variety of environments for team building activities from the Castle grounds and Lake, to woodlands, the Deer Park and disused quarries; all of which give our team building events the full benefit of this extraordinary and diverse setting.  Our team building events offer unforgettable experiences and great value for money. They are suitable for all ages and abilities as can be tailored to all budgets.

Our venue on the estate, Bronsil House, is newly refurbished and provides a relaxed atmosphere and an informal setting for your team building day and meetings.

You can also experience our Mongolian Ger Village with sumptuous warm tents with beds and feather duvets!  See our website www.d3active-team.co.uk

Some of our activities include the following;

Fevertree
Fevertree is our most popular team building programme with a number of distinctive activities set within the Castle grounds, around the lake and in the woods. It combines initiative based tasks, with exciting and moderately active physical challenges that provide a well balanced programme fully adaptable for all levels of fitness. There are over 20 different elements that can be combined for a Fevertree day including high ropes activities, a radio based code breaking challenge, crossing the lake without a boat and solving giant puzzles!

Wilderness Cooking
Take a breath of fresh air and come to a different type of culinary experience. The ‘kitchen’ is situated within the woods surrounding the Castle where you will learn about outdoor and survival cooking such as roasting food over a fire, fire pits, stews and smoking fish. It is a group challenge and regardless of how skilled you are in the kitchen at home, nature’s kitchen is a different ‘kettle of fish’ and a surprising new challenge. The teams will work towards producing a three course meal which they all get to enjoy at the end of the day.

Castle Treasure Hunt
Using a giant aerial photograph of the Eastnor Castle Grounds, teams need to organise themselves and act strategically to achieve their quest to find the Castle Booty.
The clues are to be found by completing a series of exciting tasks located within the Castle grounds including giant puzzles, physical challenges (including high and low ropes), and the Castle maze.

Assignment 8
This is a covert spy operation where teams are challenged to think and act tactically and strategically to achieve their given mission; be it defusing a bomb or recovering stolen bullion.   Along the way there will be a blend of physical and mental challenges that lead the team to a number of stashes that ultimately allow them to achieve their mission.

Castle Siege
Set in the estate grounds and around the lake, teams are challenged to create and build a variety of structures that will allow them to lay siege to Eastnor Castle!  Each team will work as a group to define their strategy and organise themselves in order to overcome the enemy and be the first to arrive on the Castle terraces.  The teams learn how to build bridges, construct catapults, siege ladders and rafts to achieve their objective. To get all the equipment that they need to complete their assault they must rise to the challenge and solve a number of larger than life sized puzzles and overcome some cunning enemy obstructions.

Drumming Workshop
Interactive drumming is rapidly becoming a recognised way of generating a sense of achievement, team harmony and a great unity.  It breaks down barriers of hierarchy, age, gender, culture and language and is an effective way to get a diverse group of people communicating, listening to one another and working together as a team to create music. Most of all it leaves the participants buzzing with energy, invigorated and with a real sense of fun.

Gourmet Cook-Off Team Challenge
Create a three course meal, with an outdoor, gourmet feel using skills and techniques acquired in fun and creative workshop tutorials, facilitated by trained chefs and instructors.  The outdoor kitchens are covered and in case of inclement weather could be held indoors.  Workshops include bread making, smoking fish and meat, sausage making and desserts plus many more!  This team event is a lot of fun and can be run as a competition with a judging panel.

The Eastnor Castle Adventure
This programme is an excellent team building, corporate and hospitality event.  Run over two days it incorporates 4 x 4 driving (including night driving), wilderness cookery and a night in the Mongolian Ger tents and a day of adventure activities in the Castle grounds.  To make it the ultimate castle experience you can add an exclusive night in the Castle with sumptuous bedrooms and a private dinner.

Team Building Adventure Race Day
This great team building day is suitable for all ages and all levels of fitness.  It is a multi-activity ‘race’ between teams ensuring that communication, delegation and leadership are core to the success.  The activities include kayaking, radio communication, navigation, initiative challenges,  abseiling, mountain biking, zip lines and walking.  There is a role and an activity for everyone to participate in the skill lies in identifying the team strengths and playing to them.
