The beautiful fairytale castle is holding an action-packed Children's Fun Week of exciting activities and entertainment, set to attract over 10,000 parents and children. Families will be able to enjoy a whole raft of activities including a giant inflatable assault course, gladiator challenge, zip wire, giant swing in the trees, bouncy castle and even the ever popular “Wacky Races” as part of a sports day style competition run by Wizard Wonky!

Brand new for 2005, will be Cotswold Ark Farmyard , with rare breeds of ducks, geese, pigs, sheep, goats and chickens to see; Samba & Scrap Percussion, where kids can try their hand at Afro-Brazilian music using samba drums and scrap instruments made of bamboo, wood and plastic; and Circus Skills , where families can learn the art of plate spinning, juggling and Diablo, and get the chance to perform in a large inflatable Circus Ring.

In addition, there will also be exciting new drama workshops and a Mini-Beast Hunt with Herefordshire Nature Trust.

To top it off there will be non-stop entertainment from Punch & Judy, giant stilt walkers and painting, pottery and model making with the chance to help make a giant terracotta dragon! Plus, theatrical and TV make-up artist Max Vandebanks - who has worked on many programmes and films including Harry Potter – will be offering face painting with a difference, creating fantasy characters, ageing looks and casualty wounds!

Offering fantastic value for money, all this is available in a day pass for just £8.50 for children aged 5 – 15, £6 for under-fives, and £5 for adults. Weekly passes are also available and visitors can upgrade to visit the castle too, for just an extra £1 for children and £2 for adults. What's more, most of the activities are undercover so there's no need for families to worry about the great British weather!

If families can't make the Children's Fun Week, then why not visit Eastnor Castle anyway?
