Kids Get Set For A Week Of Fun

Childrens Fun Week 06The hugely popular annual Children’s Fun Week returns to Eastnor Castle, near Ledbury, on Monday 14th until Friday 18th August between 11.00am and 5.00pm.  This action-packed week of activities is particularly suitable for children between the ages of 2 and 11.

A brand new attraction for 2006 will be Monkey Music a lively workshop that will be all rhythm and no blues!  Children will have lots of fun learning songs, playing percussion instruments and making music.

The Flying Potter will be involving the children making an army of terracotta Dr Who Daleks, which of course is now back on our screens and incredibly popular.

The children can make individual contributions in decorating the terracotta Daleks ready for exterminating!

Back by popular demand are the colourful Victorian Swing boats and non-stop entertainment from Punch & Judy, Giant Stilt Walkers and painting workshops with Filbert Splosh, plus  theatrical and TV make-up artist - Max Vandebanks who has worked on many programmes and films including Harry Potter.  For the more energetic, there will be a giant inflatable assault course, Gladiator Duel, Zip Wire and King Swing and much, much more.

Offering fantastic value for money, all this is available in a day pass for just £9.00 for children aged 5 – 11, £6.50 for children aged 2 - 4, and £5 for adults and children over 12yrs.  Prices include entry into the castle and weekly passes are also available.  Most of the activities are undercover so there’s no need for families to worry about the great British weather!
