Eastnor Gets Set For A Summer of Family Fun!
Eastnor Castle, the fairytale 19th century castle near Ledbury in Herefordshire is preparing for a summer of family fun with the launch of their new ‘Family Days’, which will take place on Sundays in the Summer holidays. Visitors will have the chance to take part in a range of activities including art and pot making (Sunday 16th July), garden games (Sunday 23rd July), bug hunts (Sunday 30th July) and bird of prey displays (Sunday 6th August). All the activities in the Eastnor Family Days are included in the new grounds only admission price. Eastnor has reduced its grounds-only admission prices for this year to £3.00 for adults, £1.00 children, £2.00 for senior citizens and a family ticket for £7.00, to encourage more people to enjoy the breathtaking grounds and scenery and the permanent attractions such as the famous Arboretum, Knight’s Maze, Children’s Adventure Playground, Assault Course and Nature Trail. Eastnor is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the castle grounds are a fantastic setting for family picnics, woodland and lakeside walks, and outdoor play areas. The spectacular castle and grounds are open every Sunday and bank holiday Monday until 1 October, and every day from 17 July to 31 August, except on Saturdays.
