We offer outdoor team building programmes with D3 Active, who are based on the Eastnor Estate and enjoy a reputation as one of the most innovative and creative team building companies.
The team building activities, challenges and puzzles are purpose built, permanent structures and have been constructed to a very high standard. They are authentic and are complementary to their natural surroundings. We also have one of the longest zip wires in Europe (850 ft) from one of the Castle Turrets across the lake!
The team building events offer unforgettable experiences and great value for money. They are suitable for all ages and abilities as can be tailored to all budgets.

Team Building Activities
The team building activities listed below are aimed at stimulating your thinking, but they are by no means set in stone. We are happy to combine a number of ideas together in order to make the day suit your purposes.
Fevertree
Fevertree is the most popular team building programme with a number of distinctive activities set within the Castle grounds, around the lake and in the woods. It combines initiative based tasks, with exciting and moderately active physical challenges that provide a well balanced programme fully adaptable for all levels of fitness. There are over 20 different elements that can be combined for a Fevertree day and these include high ropes activities, Tyrolean crossing, Castle Turret zip wire and solving giant puzzles!
High Adrenalin
This team building day provides a group with a series of shared activities that are exciting and stimulating but everything is managed in a controlled and safe environment. There are a variety of challenges most of which the team must tackle together in order to be successful.
The activities can include Jacobs Ladder, High all Aboard, Low ropes, Tyrolean crossing, bridge building and crossing and a river drive. The day builds up to a finale when the participants then experience one of the longest zip wire experiences in the country (300m) from a turret on Eastnor Castle across the lake to the other side!
Brain Fever
Challenge your team’s mental agility, stimulate their problem solving skills and promote their spatial awareness with this great series of team building activities.
The team will experience a number of tasks that involve giant wooden puzzles, navigation methods, communication techniques and initiative challenges all situated around and over the Castle Lake. To be successful the teams will have to carefully plan their time and use effective communication.
Cardboard Boat Regatta - Half Day Event
Cardboard boat racing is an innovative, accessible and brilliant way to challenge your staff’s creativity and initiative. It also has the excitement of a head to head race allowing for a fun competitive atmosphere as a finale. The participants are tasked with building a boat, using the materials provided. The boat must be able to carry the team around a fixed course.
Castle Treasure Hunt – 2 hour event
Enjoy a traditional treasure hunt whilst exploring the stunning Castle grounds. Each team will be given a pack including a map, a camera and a list of questions, objects to find and challenges to complete. The teams need to navigate their way around the grounds to try and achieve as many of the tasks and find as many objects as possible in the time allowed. Points will be deducted for teams arriving back at base past the deadline so careful time management is also required!
Multi Activity Day
Our multi-activity team building day is a menu of options for you to choose from in order to best suit your requirements and timings. Based around the beautiful setting of the castle grounds we can provide any mix of the following and are open to suggestions as well! Archery; Castle Zip Wire; High all Aboard; Low Ropes; Jacobs ladder; Raft Building; Catapults.
Castle Siege
Set in the estate grounds and around the lake, teams are challenged to create and build a variety of structures that will allow them to lay siege to Eastnor Castle! Each team will work as a group to define their strategy and organise themselves in order to overcome the enemy and be the first to arrive on the Castle terraces. The teams learn how to build bridges, construct catapults, siege ladders and rafts to achieve their objective. To get all the equipment that they need to complete their assault they must rise to the challenge and solve a number of larger than life sized puzzles and overcome some cunning enemy obstructions.
Drumming Workshop
Interactive drumming is rapidly becoming a recognised way of generating a sense of achievement, team harmony and a great unity. It breaks down barriers of hierarchy, age, gender, culture and language and is an effective way to get a diverse group of people communicating, listening to one another and working together as a team to create music. Most of all it leaves the participants buzzing with energy, invigorated and with a real sense of fun.
