Day Visitors Testimonials
Here are just a few of the testimonials received from visitors to Eastnor:
We have to thank you, and indeed every member of staff with whom we came into contact, for their fiendliness, helpfulness, knowledge of the family and history of the castle. The same air of welcome and hospitality was so evident in all areas of the castle and we were absolutely delighted to see the dogs with their owners taking the tour of the castle too.
So all in all, we had a perfect afternoon - only the weather let us down a bit - but this did not deter many of our group touring the grounds and admiring the gardens. We left Eastnor knowing that it was indeed most certainly and above all a family home and a much loved family home at that, hoping to return for a further visit in the very near future. Thank you for making our visit so very memorable.

A group of us visited in June and it was an incredibly special and memorable day for everyone and they have asked me to write with our thanks and appreciation. The day was perfect weather wise and ran like clockwork. Starting with Patricia Wilson's friendly and informative greeting, the coffee and very tasty homemade biscuits whcih were enjoyed at a leisurely pace taking in the breathtaking views from the terrace. Then the fascinating tour done so expertly by Patricia whose clear voice and passionate knowledge of the history of the castle were keenly listened to by all.

The suprise and thrill of having a superb lunch in your magnificent dining room really topped the day off. Thank you for allowing the public to enjoy Eastnor Castle to the full.

I wanted to say thank you for a wonderful day on Sunday (BIG Eastnor Challenge). It was fantastic to be able to bring my chocolate labrador with me to visit the house and gardens, and my friends' children thoroughly enjoyed the mountain boarding and archery. It made my day to bring my canine friend! The castle is spectacular - it was so nice to see family photo's dotted around, and the feeling was so relaxed and welcoming! Eastnor Castle really is unique, and we have been telling all our friends to come and visit your wonderful castle.

We have just come home after spending 5 days on a caravan rally in the deer park at Eastnor. Absolutely fabulous. We spent the best part of Saturday in the castle itself. What an amazing place. Our dog was also welcomed by all the staff. It was lovely to be able to visit inside the house as well as the grounds with our dog in tow......in fact I would say some of the dogs were better behaved than some of the children!! Well done Eastnor for being dog friendly, we will be singing your praises to all our friends.

Not having visited the Castle for many years, my daughter, grand-daughter and I were amazed at the improvements we found. The lakeside walk and layout were much better and the interior seemed to be much better laid out and displayed. The guides were very helpful and informative.
At the entrance we were greeted by a guide who welcomed us to the Castle, and gave us a conducted tour around several rooms, which was excellent. Indeed he was quite amazing as he seemed to weave the facts into a story rather than deliver a lecture, which brought the whole experience to life. We were entranced. We often visit historical houses and castles, but have never been fortunate enough to derive such pleasure from a tour as we did at Eastnor.
We are certainly looking forward to our next visit to Eastnor, and will not leave it so long! Well done, you are certainly developing Eastnor very well.
